Press and hold on the game icon on your home screen until it jiggles. Then tap the little 'x' that appears in the top corner of the icon. You've now deleted the game. Now, let's go to the App Store>tap 'today' in bottom left corner>tap the 'photo' in the upper right corner>tap 'purchased'. Scroll until you see this game>swipe to the left>tap 'hide'.

If this particular game is one that has a monthly subscription, you need to cancel it. Go to settings>tap 'nam'e>tap 'itunes and app store'>tap 'apple id' at top of the screen>on pop up, tap 'view Apple ID'. Enter password, if prompted, then scroll to bottom>tap 'subscriptions'>tap this game subscription>tap 'cancel subscription'.
