MacBook Pro 15" Mid 2012 - SuperDrive noises on wake

I have a MacBook Pro 15" Mid 2012 (non-Retina) that I bought off eBay a few weeks ago. It has a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 and 8GB of RAM. It originally had a 500GB 5400 RPM hard drive, but I recently replaced it with a 256GB SSD.

The computer is running great for its age, but lately there's a small issue upon waking up the computer: whenever the sleep indicator light is off and I open the lid, the SuperDrive seeks and then the computer wakes up. It tends to happen whenever the computer is asleep for several hours. I find this to be a little annoying.

Here is a video of the issue in action: https://youtu.be/07jpw_CNCFI

Is there a way to fix this?

That is normal operation.

It wants to Mount or re-Mount any CD or DVD that might be present.
