I keep getting a pop up saying my computer's been scanned and needs cleaning. How do I get rid of it?

If this occurs when you visit a website ignore the message. It is fake and trying to convince you to download software that is malware. If this is happening when you aren't online, download MalwareBytes. It is the only anti-malware for the Mac that I recommend. Run a scan and follow the onscreen prompts.
