Safari Frozen (Mojave OS)
Safari has frozen and won't unfreeze despite Force Quit, shut turn and restart. Opens up and remains frozen.

Hold the shift key when launching Safari. This will prevent bad stuff from loading that may be "freezing" it.
In Safari Preferences:
- Advanced panel, [√] Show Develop menu in menu bar
- Press the option+command+e keys to clear your browser cache. The Develop menu bar item will flash to confirm.
- Extensions panel
- Disable, or remove all extensions
- Safari menu : Clear History… all history : Clear History
- Also clears all cookies
- Quit Safari and then launch normally.
It cannot hurt to install and run the free Malwarebytes for Mac to check for adware/malware that may be impacting your Mac and/or affecting Safari. This will be a fully featured 14-day trial, and then you can just run it interactively afterward. Subscription to the "realtime" features is purely optional.
