If an iPhone is under remote management from a company, what exactly do they have access to?

I know the company in question would be able to wipe the device, locate it through Lost Mode and other such things... but as far as the content goes, what can they see? Would they be able to actually access and see the photos/videos you have on the phone? Will they know which AppleID you are using as your profile on that device?

Thank you in advance.

If the phone was issued by the company they own it and all of the content on it. You should not put anything personal on it unless they explicitly have a policy that allows personal content. Most people with company phones have a separate personal phone.

To try to answer your question, any contacts associated with your company email account are visible to the administrator, including any personal contacts that you save to it. They can see all emails sent using the company account. They generally can't see your photos unless you email them using a company email account. Or your texts. They can see your calendar entries for calendars tied to your Exchange account. From there it's mostly common sense. They can see notes associated with Exchange, but not notes that are local on your phone or that sync to your personal iCloud account. However, if you use an iCloud account provided by the company they can see all content that you sync to iCloud.

So the best advice is in my first paragraph, and SravanKrA's post.

Thank you for your answer. There's no such thing as a company account, e-mail or app to be used on the phone, hence my confusion on the boundaries of all this. The only thing is that, in Settings, there's a message saying the device is supervised and managed by the company; when I go to General, there's a MDM profile listed under "Device Management".

I have logged in with my personal AppleID, my photos from the cloud have been synced to the device... I just wonder if they are able to actually see that kind of data.
