I’m new to Apple and not impressed. Is there a flash drive for iPad 6th generation wi if cell

When you eventually upgrade that iPad to the new iPadOS, you can use Lightning connector style flash drives.

For the commonplace USB flash drives,


You need this adapter here.

And this adapter need to be plugged into external power using your iPad's charge cable and Apple power/charging block to power it.

Be aware, I have a Verbatim Store-n-Go Dual with a lightning connector that does not work with Files. I can still sort of use it with the Store n Go app however I have to go through a few more steps to get it to work. The folders that do appear in the Files app are not accessible in the Store n Go app either which makes thing a little more difficult than it was before. Hopefully Verbatim or Apple will fix this issue so I don't have to buy the dongle.
