Is 'no_reply@appleid.com' legit or a phising email?

I received an e-mail today (sender is no_reply@appleid.com) telling that my Apple ID account has been locked for security reasons. In this email they recommend to update my account in 24 hours. If I do not do it my account will be locked permanently. And they provide me with a link (button) that says 'unlock my account'. And I am supposed to click on that button to unlock my account. Is that a legit email? Is it a phishing email?

It's fake. Forward it to reportphishing@apple.com as an attachment and then delete it.

If an Apple ID actually gets locked, its owner will be told when they try logging into it instead of through email.
