New feature on “Find My” app that I would like to turn off

So Apple employees, I see you answer other customers’ questions, but you won’t answer mine. Does that mean you don’t want people to know how to turn off that BAD feature? I really don’t need my kids knowing when I am tracking them, and now they do. So thanks for that.

Thank you for replying, AKRBTN. On other Apple Communities, I had seen replies from Apple employees (in addition to other users), and often within a few hours of the posts, so I erroneously assumed an Apple employee would answer me. I don’t think that I was being impatient, because I posted my question on Thursday and it is now Tuesday, and no one had responded. Before I posted my question, I DID Google it - in many different question formats - and was NEVER able to find an answer, so Google is no friend of mine. Now that I know Apple employees don’t look at these posts, I will not be posting queries, but rather, will just call Apple Support, as you suggested, and speak to someone who knows something.
