itunes playlist does not move forward
My playlists will now only play the same song on repeat; I have to move the playlist forward by tapping the next song. I can't find a setting to alter this - very odd.

I understand that your playlists are not moving forward unless you manually tap next. I'd like to help. To start, since it appears to be stuck on repeat, make sure that the selection is correct for repeat and shuffle: Repeat and shuffle music
Somethings to note, does this happen on every playlist? Try creating a new one to see if that helps.
Also, restart your iPhone, sometimes a restart can help resolve issues.
