Hi everyone.
I’m thinking of buying a new smart tv, and believe I’ll take the Samsung Q60R 55” which has the Apple TV app and Airplay 2 feature.
I was wondering if I can change the tv audio output to an Airplay 2 speaker (Sonos).
Anyone who has already tested this out?

You would need e.g. an additional Sonos Playbar to use the Sonos Symfonisk with a TV, as a direct connection isn’t possible.

Which model Sonos speakers are you referring to? Some are wired, some are bluetooth, some are Wi-Fi, some are not intended as TV speakers. The TV would have to support whatever protocol matches the speakers for input.
The Apple TV app plays no role in this.

You can change the TV audio output to a separate speaker system (e.g. Sonos), but that wouldn’t involve AirPlay, even if both devices support AirPlay.

Oh, that’s clear. I thought it was something like iOS, where you can, for example, stream the synchronized audio of a video on an Airplay 2 speaker. Thank you.
