Since updating to High Sierra, I have not been able to scan documents from my Canon MG8200 printer/scanner.
I have updated drivers at the Canon site. These state they are for High Sierra 10.13 but I still can not scan.
The printer is working.
Any suggestions to get scanner working please?

Are these the drivers you downloaded, https://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/products/fax__multifunctionals/inkjet/pixma_mg_series/pixma_mg8250.html?type=drivers&language=en&os=macos%2010.13%20(high%20sierra) after you downloaded them did you install them.
Open System Preferences> Printers & Scanners and reset the printing system, If you can't print from your Mac or iOS device – Apple Support scroll dow to Resetting The Printing System
Have you tried using the Image Capture app, it comes with the OS and is in your Applications folder.

Hi Thanks for the information. Yes this was the driver I had downloaded and installed. The scanner also had a separate driver to download. Also done. The printer worked fine but I couldn't get the scanner up. Just tried with the Capture app. Works great, thank you.
