Apple Airplay on Mac wont show up and stuck on off
My airplay is stuck on off, and wont allow me to connect any devices through airplay. Apple sidecar is what I am trying to use. I have double checked the wifi, and bluetooth. Both devices are up to date, and are within the timeframe of manufacture (2018) and up on both devices. However I am still not having any airplay symbol show up in the menu bar, nor will the computer allow me to turn it on. I was on the phone with an Apple rep for nearly an hour trying to fix. Even backed up and reinstalled Catalina on my computer. Nothing seems to work. I have even used a wired connection to try to get this to work, however this is also not remedying the situation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. And please apple, if you know this is an issue please update the software for the users who are having this issue. It makes my 2500 purchase seem a little less deserved when Im having software issues like such.
