Logitech Bluetooth mouse lag and stutter Catalina

My MX Master 2s mouse was working perfectly up until a few weeks ago when I did an update to the Catalina OS, it stutters and lag a few times a minute - about every 15 seconds. I've remove it from BT settings and repaired it but it still does it. It works fine at times and then there will be hours where its difficult to get anything done because it is constantly freezing for about 5 seconds every 10-15 seconds.

I found this question on a forum but it has been locked and didn't see any new responses or fixes to the issue. Can anyone provide any information or help to this?

This is a bluetooth mouse and no additional bluetooth devices have been added to the computer so there shouldn't be any additional interference that was not present before I started having the issue. I have an Apple Magic Mouse and it works fine (no lag), problem is that I can't use it for my CAD design / drafting. I have another MX Master 2S mouse that I have tried just to make sure its not the mouse. Both MX Master 2S do the same exact thing.

It may just be possible that your Logitech mice are more susceptible to interference than your Apple mouse as the symptoms you describe leads me to believe that. Whether or not, the latest upgrade to macOS Catalina is the culprit is still a potential and would require either downgrading or waiting for the next upgrade to verify.

Again, in my case, my MX Master 2S mice are not having this issue with either my 2018 Mac mini, nor my 2017 MacBook ... both running 10.15.4. However, they rely on using the supplied dongle.

Just to be sure, Logitech offers both Bluetooth and Unify mice. I believe the MX Master 2S is the latter type, as I have one of these mice myself. As such, I find in my experience, that the path between the Unify dongle and the mouse must not be obstructed. Otherwise, I too see the same issue as you do. In may case, my notebook is running the latest version of macOS Catalina and I didn't see any difference in this behavior with each upgrade of Catalina.

The other possibility is if you have other Bluetooth devices enabled near by, these can potentially cause interference.
