iPads

I recently purchased 2 iPad Pros, one 12.9 and the other 10.2. Neither one will complete iMessages to my son’s phone, but will to others on my list. His phone is an Android. Now, my iPhone 11Max works fine when texting him.

Any clues as to the reason that my phone works but not the new iPads?

Thanks,

Robin Lewis

Here’s some info About iMessage and SMS/MMS - Apple Support — see if that gets you working.

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Send a group text message on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

And make sure that your iPhone has Settings > Messages > Send as SMS and MMS and group messaging enabled.
