High Sierra download

The latest compatible version for my MacBook Pro is High Sierra 13.6. This is also the earliest compatible version for software I'm trying to download. I have seen the link for Get High Sierra but it only offers download from iTunes...when I try to change to the app store, it just freezes. I see updates to High Sierra that require v13 but am not locating any working link to download Sierra itself. I'm stuck...please help!
