Can’t redownload my movies

I no longer have the external hard drive I was downloading my movies to because my movie collection is massive and now when I go to redownload a movie it doesn’t give me the option, it says it’s already downloaded it to my MacBook Pro and it only gives an option to locate the file. I was assuming I’d easily be able to just redownload a few movies for my camping trip but it’s not going so easy. Does anyone have a solution to help me out? P.S. I tried signing out of my account in the Movies app and tried signing back in and that didn’t help.

Hi M4JOR!

I understand that you’re unable to redownload movies on your Mac, and I'm happy to help. You can delete the items in question from your library as described here:

Delete music, movies, and TV shows from your device

You can then redownload them using these instructions:

Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books

Cheers!
