MacOS Catalina 10.15.4 Crash

My MacBook (2.8Ghz i7, 16GB RAM, 15-inch 2017) started crashing randomly after the last update.

It is continuously crashing 3-4 times a day.

The crash happen if applications are open, or if it is just sitting idle.

Please help find the root cause and help with the resolution.

Thanks,

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

Any number of those non-Apple kernel extensions can be the culprit.

"defendpointd" is not an Apple process I'm familiar with, but if it is associated with a non-Apple "antivirus" product get rid of it. Your Mac won't work with it installed. Presumably you already know "McAfee" is an example of junk that should be removed.

For a comprehensive report consider using EtreCheck: ‎EtreCheck on the Mac App Store. I have no affiliation with it so my ability to help interpret its report is limited, but if you were to post it to this site perhaps I could help. If not, others will certainly be able to.
