Keyboard issue on new ipad pro
What are those symbols on the second key down on the left side of the keyboard. It's three unrecognizable characters and I want them to be in English (just like the rest of the keyboard).
iPad Pro, iPadOS 13

When you go to settings > general > keyboard > keyboards, what do you see on the list? If there is more than one item, use the edit key to remove everything except English.

I took a screenshot of the keyboard and tried to paste it here, but it didn't work, so I'll try my best to be more clear.
When I bring up the keyboard in pages or numbers, all of the letters and characters are in English, but the key on the left side of the keyboard (above the shirt key and below the tab key) shows 3 characters of a language I don't recognize. . when I pull up the list of languages for the keyboard, it is number 30. I don't know how to convert that language for that key back to English. That is my questions. Maybe the attachment that I copied and pasted will show you the screenshot (with the key in question circled in yellow). I don't know it it will work.

Your's is the second case I have seen with some crazy number of keyboards. Normally you should only have one or two unless you specifically go into settings and add others one by one....Very strange to have 40 without doing that.
Hello,
I am having a difficult time understanding your question. Could you please restate your question while providing as much detail as you can?
To post a screen shot here, you go tap on the next to last icon in the row at the bottom the reply field (not copy/paste). Like this:

Caps Lock could go there. Is that what the key does?
A Chinese layout would have characters on it to indicate keyboard switching, like
Hello,
Are you referring to the ⌃ (Control), ⌥ (Option), and ⌘ (Command) keys?
No. It's on a new iPad pro. There are 4 keys to the left of the letters. It's the second one from the top (just above the key that switches between lower and upper case letters.
I removed 39 out of 40 languages and it worked! I now see my 'caps lock" key. Thanks!!
I think that the default was to highlight all languages (even though during setup, I chose English. Sometimes I dread getting new devices. So many surprises in the beginning.
