Recovery mode of iPhone 7 doesn't appear

After loosing the passcode on an iPhone 7, the device is disabled and requested to connect to iTunes. iTunes recommends to start the device, connect it to a PC while holding the volume down button and the recovery mode shall appear. However, the recovery mode screen doesn't appear despite holding the volume down button for 10 mins! can someone please help?

Hi ahmad_D,

I understand you are attempting to Restore your iPhone due to a lost Passcode.

I would recommend following the steps here: If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled.

Hope this helps!
