Message when trying to install macOS Mojave

I keep getting notification saying I need to install macOS Mojave but when I click on it I get a message saying it's damaged. Any suggestions what I do from here?

When you go to the App Store Mojave page and it says 'Open' the App Sore is detecting a copy of Install macOS Mojave.app

in your Applications folder. Locate it and move it to the Trash, empty the Trash.

Connect your mac to your router via cable, restart your mac.

Go back to the App Store Mojave download page and it should now say Get or Download.

Do not use the mac while it is downloading or any other devices that share the same internet connection.
