I would like to change my Apple ID, however, I am getting the following error message:
"Your new Apple ID cannot be the same as your notification email address. Choose a different email address"
How do I resolve this?

We understand from your question that you are unable to create your Apple ID. We can certainly help you with this!
You will need to make your Apple ID something different than your notification email address (secondary/recovery email address).
