Macbook Air mouse touchpad problem

Hi, just a quick question but my mouse lags to move whenever i turn on my laptop. Usually i put it to sleep and when i open my mac the mouse freeze for about 20-60 secs before its able to move. How should I fix this? Should i be worried?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Reset SMC by following the directions applicable to your MacBook here ➔ How to Reset SMC. If that does not solve things then-
Reset NVRAM/PRAM by following the directions applicable to your MacBook here ➔ How to Reset NVRAM/PRAM.
