Notability Double Purchase

I bought a notability app on my Mac and I am trying to download this on my iPad. The Apple ID on both is the same, but when I go to download this on the iPad, it is asking me to purchase it again. I have also checked family sharing and it says that no one else purchased it. Any ideas of how to fix this?

Because most app developers charge for both versions of their app. The developer had to create a Mac version and an iOS version. If you want both, you must buy both.
