option to updates to Catalina aren't showing up app store my ... computer is mid 2015 mac pro
MacBook Pro 15″, OS X 10.11
I am using EL Capitan OS .... and that option doesn't show in the app store or per the my laptop. when I go directly to the option vi the app store and select the download it just sits there at calculating ... for almost an hour before I quit that task
still i am not able to get the app store to provide me the option of updating my OS and when I select directly from the app store it just sits there not truly acting upon my request. I also rebooted my machine to make sure it took my system preference updates
That sort of update moved to:
system preferences > software Update
It's now back where it used to be: System Preferences > Software Update.
oops just checked the system preference again and this time check the system presences for app store ... and options for os downloads was not active ... trying now
