I am trying to remove an application called Cricut design space and it will not go into the trash can...it has now cause a spinning wheel, slow down to my mac

I downloaded the Cricut design space app and it IMMEDIATELY gave my brand new mac show the spinning wheel and has slowed down EVERYTHING!!! It will not allow me to drag it to the trash. So I can not figure out how to remove it.

I purchased my mac in April, it is running on Sierra, and I have had to dump everything and start again from scratch and take it back to factory settings-probably due to this same app.

Please help me figure out how to remove so I don't have to do this process again. I am a teacher and we have started back to school and this is a LONG process!!

Well you've gone back to Factory Settings, your mac should not have the Cricut app installed ... so this indicates that you have not successfully reset to Factory Settings.

I will suggest to shut down your mac. Restart.

Do not launch the Cricut app. If it launches automatically quit it first before deleting.

And then follow the steps here (see link) ... if something prevents you from deleting like an error message, etc. try take a screenshot or picture and let us know.
