I can't share my home

Both my wife's and mine apple devices running with latest softwares. But since I have created my home and using HomePod as a hub to control all HomeKit devices, I have been trying to connect my wife to control the devices. but as soon I send the invitation and she accepts it, under the people only her name appears but doesn't allow her to control any devices.

  • On her device in the home app does she have Home enabled in Settings >her name (Apple ID) > iCloud? *See image*
  • If she does, have her toggle it off then back on
  • Also have her sign out of Apple ID, then sign back in. in Settings >her name (Apple ID) > iCloud - scroll down to sign out Then sign in.
  • After she’s done all this, send her the invite again.
  • Make sure you’re sending the invite to her Apple ID - assuming you are using your own Apple ID’s?

There used to be a section on that page, what to do if the invite didn’t work.
