So simple I am embarrassed to ask - HOW DO I CHANGE MY APPLE LOGIN, not the ID. I know the password I first chose and want to make it simpler. Seems unknowable from searching Apple Support!

That's my problem; I spent a good bit of time with Apple to differentiate between my ID password and the login password. The login password has no criteria and can be as few as 2 characters. I made mine too long and want to change in. But thanks for trying. You are my only response. Jan
Your log in password for what? Any place you log in using your Apple ID, you use your Apple ID password.
If you mean the password you use to unlock your phone or your computer, that's completely separate from your Apple ID.
