Icons at the top of my iPhone X screen pop up in the middle of the screen magnified

So I recently noticed that when I touch the time or status bar icons at the top of my iPhone X screen they pop up in the middle of the screen magnified. Does anybody know why this happened because I didn’t change anything that I’m aware of

Is it possible that you inadvertently turned on the zoom setting in Accessibility?
