After updating to IOS 14, any apps that I use where I turn the phone horizontally, such as games or YouTube, I have the widgets covering 1/4 of the left side of my screen. Even if I delete the widgets, the search bar for them shows in the same place, covering content on the screen. Any tips?

Same, after installing IOS 14.2 for my iPhone 11 the same issue of the widgets appearing in the horizontal view on webpages and not being able to disable them or remove them. A hard restart worked well.
Had the same problem. Was driving me mad. Tried the old favourite of turning my phone off and on again and it seemed to have resolved itself!
Had the same problem this morning, turned phone off and back on, issue resolved.
