Is Big Sur compatible with my 2004 Classic iPod. Catalina was not compatible for about 1 year.

If I download Big Sur to my iMac, will I be able to transfer music from my iMac to my 2004 classic iPod? Catalina was incompatible with my iPod for a long time. Only last week did I find limited compatibility. I want uninterrupted use of my iPod.

I would imagine support to by much the same as with Catalina, but I cannot upgrade to confirm. I been able to use my iPod classic with Music since Catalina was released, though I did have to reformat it as it was previously formatted for Windows and Finder would consistently fail to transfer content to it properly, without raising a definitive error.
