How to restore contacts

How can I restore contacts from an older backup. About 2 weeks

iPhone 6, iOS 12

  1. Log on to iCloud.com
  2. Click you name in the upper right
  3. Click Account Settings
  4. In the Advanced section, click Restore Contacts
  5. Choose one of the back ups

The Contacts are synched in iCloud but you won't see a Contacts app. Yet you can restore them by following the above instructions. They will be restored across all your devices. I'm attaching a few screen shots. Once you get to this last screen below, you select the backup and click Restore. There are several backups, listed by date; You'll need to select the one that you know contains your missing data.
