Macbook air with M1 chip - HDMI crashes net/web connection...

Hi,

Just bought a base model MacBook Air m1 chip.

when I connect my MacBook Air, with m1 chip, with an usb-c to HDMI adapter (no matter the model and or make of the adapter tested 5 all with same symptoms) the wifi signal stays on ... but web/net connection fails (wifi signal keeps on and high but no connection to web/net) a few seconds after, without doing anything... web/lan connection resumes....

This does not happen with neither of my other MacBooks (air or pros intel version).

Does anyone experienced the same problem?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.0

a couple weeks ago, i read an article on Macworld about M1 MacBooks using an external monitor and HDMI problems and there was a fix.

if you can do some research to find the article, that could solve your problem, since i cant find the article now.
