Is there no long an option to set chrome as default browser?

I'm trying to set chrome as the default browser on my iPad (just updated to iPadOS 14.2) but when I go to the chrome section in settings there's no option to select a default browser. Also in gmail when I click on links and select "open in chrome" it still opens in safari....

Hey iamadoge,

We see that you're having issues setting your default browser as Chrome, and we'd like to offer some assistance!

Here's a helpful article with steps you can take to change your default web browser: Change the default web browser or email app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you don't see the option to change your web browser as your default, then the developer might not support it with your current iOS version. You'll need to contact the developer for more info: How to contact an app developer

We hope this helps!

Best regards.
