How to move photos from iPhotos to photos , found both files in finder but can't move pictures from iPhotos to photos? Even with all photos is clicked on in photos not all show up?
If you hold down the option key while starting photos, you will be able to select which library you want to open. If you are going to open the iPhoto library, it will be converted to a photos library, so take a backup of it first.

If you have two separate libraries, photos can only open one library at a time. Further - if it opens an iPhoto library, it will convert it to a Photos library. Are you sure the pictures in the Iphoto library haven't already been converted and transferred.
How are you viewing the photos in each library?
Yes there are two folders- some in iPhotos are in the other photo folder, but not all, I want to be able to see all in one folder. I click on the photo icon at the bottom of my screen, sometimes it comes up with all, sometimes only iPhoto, try clicking all photos when open, but all are not there.
