unable to use share function on iPad air 3 on OS 14.3

Recently the Share function has stopped working on my iPad air3

I have reset the iPad and updated to OS 14.3 but Share still not working

I do not have What’s App

iPad Air 3, iPadOS 14

Many thanks for replying to my problem which is extremely annoying and frustrating as the Share function is something which I used frequently.

When I try to share a webpage using Safari, Edge, Chrome browser there is no response to any destination which I select. The most common sharing goes to Messenger but other destinations still give no response.

I have tried using the Share function on the BBC website, which is not the Share button on my iPad, but this also fails to send.

Would a Factory Reset solve the problem?

Thanks for all replies but it seems to be Messenger which is the problem as I can Share/Send to other Apps but Messenger doesn’t seem to accept any shares.

I have re installed Messenger but problem still exists.

I have resorted to Copy and Paste for Sharing and this works for me so I will mark the post as Solved

If this issue is only occurring when attempting to share from a specific app, we recommend the steps here: If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open This includes force quitting and restarting the app, and that all third-party apps are up to date.
