In my initial question I DID specify that the PC had only usb a connections.


Unfortunately, Apple does not make one of these - and I have read reviews where off-brand cables have ruined ipads....I was hoping someone had another work-around - I just bought an apple adapter that I will have to get a male to male usb a cable in order to use, but I don't want to damage my nice new ipad. I was surprised to find that the usb c cable was double ended usb c and not a usb a to usb c! Very frustrated over that one!
