Hi,
When I'm on a call the volume is so loud that people around me can hear the conversation. I tried using the volume buttons but it wont go below a certain level. The phone is not on speaker.
I can seem to find any help online.
Can anyone help?

The speaker reproduces the whisper of the interlocutor so loudly that everyone around me can hear the conversation. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! From our understanding, you are not able to lower the volume on your calls, do we have that right? If you go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringer And Alerts, is the change with buttons turned on? Does this happen with multiple contacts? Has your iPhone been restarted since noticing this issue?

Thank you for that information. If this is only happening with the interlocutor as you mentioned and not with any other contacts, it may be an issue on their end. You may want to have them check their volume settings.
