Activity App Not suggesting a new goal on Mondays.

It has been a couple months since the Activity app has not suggested a new move goal on Mondays for me and my wife. We have been "stuck" at the 300 CAL for months despite closing our move rings. We are able to change the activity goal manually.

My questions is, has the feature been removed and it won't automatically suggest a new move goal on Mondays or is it still a bug and I need to keep reporting it for future update fixes?

We both are in watchOS versions 7.3 (18S801) Watch 6 Stainless steel

Iphone XS Version 14.4

We have tried: turn off and turn On Both iPhone and Watch, unpair and pair.

Hello All, I think I know the fix. On another similar thread that I am following, someone posted a solution. It said that if you are using the Sleep Schedule functionality to turn it off before Monday morning and you should start receiving the weekly summary and goal suggestion notification. I saw it early enough on Monday morning that I was able to turn it off and then about an hour later received my first weekly summary and goal suggestion notification in months! Since I have a ticket open with Apple on this issue, I also sent them a note too so hopefully they can fix the bug. Hope this solution works for others too!

Hello Randy-12,

That's unfortunate. As for me I would like to have that feature back. I did a little more research and more people have the same issue. Please see links.

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8123023 For this case my Daily coach was already "On" I did turn it off and on to "reset it"

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252235693 Tried, still no new move goal suggestions, just Weekly summary.

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252364750 Same deal of "fixes" no luck.

I hope Apple "brings back or fixes ' the Move suggestion.

Same issue for me, I have an Apple Watch Series 6 as well. I brought it up to Apple, they had me install logging profiles on both my phone and watch to try and find the error. I am still waiting to hear back on a solution, this was a week ago. Hoping they can find the bug and release and update to Watch OS soon. In the meantime, I am just manually updating it. I have a friend with a series 3 watch and she receives suggested goals on weekly basis, so the feature has not been removed.
