problem importing photos from iphone

macbook air M1 with iphone se 2nd generation 2020...

When i plug my phone into the mac, the photos app is opened but no photos from my phone are appeared at the import section. I restarted both devices and still no progress. I tried still everything but no result until i read in a topic a solution from other users that face the exact same problem. They indicate that if i put my phone in airplane mode then the problem is fixed. I tried this option and they were right. Does anyone knows if this is due to a bug or something that apple is going to fix in the near future? Does anyone have the same problem?

No-one here knows if it is a specific bug, or if apple will fix it, we are all just users like you.

However, I've seen this problem crop up numerous times, and never seen this fix suggested - so that is useful information, that may help others. Thanks for that. 🙂

I am wondering if your system is also set up to sync to the phone via wifi - and perhaps the dual connnection (wifi and USB together) causes the problem.

Do you have this box checked in finder, when you click on your phone name?
