Cannot update or download app from App Store.

So the App Store has been having problems for a few months for me. Kept crashing, freezing, and generally wasn't accessible. I recently just updated it to Big Sur and was able to access Appstore for the first time in a while. I am able to log in and search for apps, but nothing is downloading. Also the apple icon on the top left corner indicates that I have 2 App Store updates pending but when I go on the update tab, it's blank. Anybody know how to go about this? Thanks.

Try a different wifi network; office, library, friend, coffeeshop.
