Cannot print from mail aftr upgrade to MacOS 12.2.3

I upgraded to MacOS 12.2.3. Now Mail no longer prints to anything. I have tried resetting the printing system, and re-adding the printer, but no luck. Mail won't even print a PDF to a file.

Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions? Mail could print properly under MacOS 12.2.1.

Re my first post

I finally left it trying to "generate an image" for printing from Mail.

After about 30 minutes, it did, I could print the image, and printing seems to be fine now. It's the first print from Mail that seems to be the issue. Just be VERY PATIENT.

If it still takes that long to print boot into Safe Mode by booting with the Shift key held down and check there to see if the problem persists.  Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files
