Hi folks.
I have been using my new iPhone 12Pro with my old iMac (OS10.13.6 High Sierra) for a couple of weeks and all was going well. Suddenly I cannot import photos from my phone to my mac ) (unrecognizable file format). I thought High Sierra would work with HEIC?
I urgently need to get my photos from my phone to my mac and would much appreciate your help.

Just discovered it was simply a cable issue! I unplugged a third party cable and plugged in with an Apple cable and all is well!
