Has my ipad been hacked?

I was browising a website and a pop up said that my ipad had been hacked and immediate action was required. Can Apple products be hacked that easy? I’ve tried googling answers and for some reason the screen kinda changes. HOW DO I FIX THIS?? Someone help please!

iPad, iPadOS 13

Ignore it.

You got lied to.

Have you ever met a web pop-up that was anything other than utter rubbish?

Websites cannot scan your device for malware. The depth of access required for a malware scan would also allow the scammers to just upload everything; which they’d just do and not bother with the pop-up. But since they can’t, they try to hack us, you, and me, and everybody else, not our devices, but us, into doing things against our own best interests.

THAT IS A SCAM

Your iPhone is fine.

What you’re reading in that notification is a hacker trying to get you to install a hack, or some sketchy product.

As for that text? That’s hilarious. Ignore it.

Why would Apple put up a time limit?

And ”watching on you”? English much?

Why would Apple not have already secured the network connection? [Apple already has secured the connections.}
