Audio Sync from MacBook Pro to Apple TV

I use my MacBook Pro to cast audio and video from my MacBook Pro to my Apple TV, specifically for Teams and Zoom calls or even using our uCaaS solution, Dialpad. There is a noticable audio lag. Will Wireless Audio Sync using my iPhone to set up work with my MacBook?

Wireless Audio Sync is for syncing the video and audio on Apple TV, when using wireless speakers.

It will not overcome the lag inherent to AirPlay (for both video and audio).
