Need to Unplug Mouse To Properly Initialize and Work

I constantly still find that Mac does not properly initialize the USB Mouse when my Mac Pro 2019 boots. The Bluetooth Mouse has no issue.

I'm fairly certain this is a MacOS initialization issue and not a USB hardware issue because whenever I use Bootcamp, the Mouse never had issues being recognized.

But booting back into MacOS, there is always a chance that the USB mouse is not responsive even if the LED lights are powered.

The only solution is to unplug the USB mouse and re-insert.

Boot into Safe Mode according to Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to nearly twice as long as a normal boot as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files
