AirPrint printer not available on iMac or any iOS devices

I have set up my Brother HL-L2370DW wireless printer using the AirPrint function. Routinely, ie. nearly always, the printer is not found when attempting to print from my iMac and iOS devices. It becomes available as a printer on these devices if I turn the device wifi off then back on. This occurred with my HP printer also. I have a xfinity XB7T router, the newest generation.

Might want to poke around over at the Verizon forums, too:

Maybe the ZeroConfig setting mentioned here: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/printer-unable-to-connect-to-xb7-router/602dafcac5375f08cd176c6a

Maybe? https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/configure-device-discovery-for-wifi

That two different printers from two different vendors are misbehaving similarly tends to point at some other common factor. Maybe at the Verizon XB7-T?
