Spreadsheet excel

I have used Linux, windows, and android. This is my first iOS. I get excel at no charge on android, but appear to be required to buy an office365 subscription on iOS. I need to be able to modify the same spreadsheet on all platforms. If there is a way to use excel on iOS free or at a lower price I would like to know about it. The alternative is a free program that can edit in excel format on iOS. These are simple spreadsheets.

thanks

Apple offers Numbers as a free app and it is compatible with Excel. Since it’s free, you can try it and if it doesn’t suit your needs, you can look for something else.

Here is a link to the app in the App Store.
