I own Apple TV 4K unit and when it was installed I was told I could get Prime Video. When I click on Prime Video and my name shows up but when I click on a movie to watch it ask me to to sign up for 1 month free trial. I am already paying for my subscription through Apple TV 4K, how can I by-pass this, it happens every time I want to watch a movie. Can you help?

You can’t pay for Amazon Prime through Apple. The Prime subscription is through Amazon directly. Always has been.
When signed in to the Prime Video app with your Amazon account, you would have access to all of the the Prime content. Movies for buy or rent from Amazon, that are not included with Prime, will have to be payed for separately, on the web, outside of the Prime app, as it currently doesn’t support in-app purchases on Apple devices.

On the Prime Video app on your TV. Navigate to the widget/gear at the top of the screen and make sure that you are signed in to your account.

That doesn’t make sense. My prime video subscription just stopped working on one of my Apple TV’s but is still working on the other Apple TV. I don’t have Amazon prime associated to my Amazon account. But I do have a prime video subscription on my apple account.
The Apple TV that’s not working won’t pick up my subscription.
