Hello, I want to share my screen on zoom to a friend when watching a movie on Apple TV app on a 2019 iMac, but when I share my screen and play the movie, the person on my zoom session can't see anything but a black screen, is there any problem with the iMac, zoom or Apple TV app? I'm not sure if this is a problem or streaming from Apple TV app is not possible at all.

You lay down the law but don't explain the root cause. Is this a feature of Apple TV+ that explicitly turns the video off when it detects a screen sharing app being active? Or is Zoom doing this because it doesn't have the bandwidth to transmit live video?

Yes. Other streaming services use the same practices.
Apple TV+ content is not to be shared via video conferencing. The content is copy protected for capturing.
Each user on a location will need to have their own subscription.
