MacOS Update

I just updated my mac to the latest OS software update. After doing this, my computer has been stuck on the loading screen for three hours. I tried restarting it and nothing helped. What do I do?

Restarting Safe Mode . Does a Repair Disk, clears cache files and only loads Apple Software, extensions and Fonts. This eliminates all Third Party software, extensions etc. from loading so it may or may not work and allow you access to the newest version just installed. Then can trouble shoot from semi-functional OS.

All you can do is hold the power4 button in until it turns off, then after cooling see if it starts up, if it hangs...

1. Start up from macOS Recovery

To start up from macOS Recovery, turn on your Mac and immediately press and hold ...

Command (⌘)-R

Installs the latest macOS that was installed on your Mac.
